Jennifer Hudson ‘Where You At’ Music Video

Effie‘s shed a few kilos and she’s back to handle her dramas in song for you all over again.

Jennifer Hudson is rightfully flaunting that sexier new figure of hers in this stylish new video for her comeback single ‘Where You At’.

Director Anthony Mandler (the man behind Rihanna‘s ‘Only Girl In The World’ and ‘Russian Roulette’ videos) sets our leading lady in two main contrasting scenes where we really get to see her character’s loneliness amplified in a highly visual way.

Consider the beautiful mix of cold hard city streets – where Jennifer‘s getting pissed searching for her boo – with the intimate sun-soaked scenes at home, where Jennifer – in all her tenderness – is letting you have all the eye candy her man’s clearly missing.

Here are three interesting points about the ‘Where You At’ video:

1) Heel-less shoes.

Diva is trippin’ on some seriously fierce heel-less shoes here, following in the very tentative footsteps of fashion daredevils like Victoria Beckham and Lady Gaga.

2) Obligatory sassy moves.

Ever since she snatched that Oscar, Jennifer Hudson‘s been dying to let Effie White back out of the bag, and you just know that she can’t restrain herself from bringing the theatrics on for this number.

3) That amazing bodeh.

Weight Watchers, keep counting them dollar bills because this right here is your money shot.

Jennifer Hudson‘s sophomore album I Remember Me is out in the US on 22 March. ‘Where You At’ was released online in January and it has managed to peak so far at #29 on the US Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts.

No word on an Aussie release date for the album and single as yet.
