There’s something so charming about how self-referential the new J.Lo sonics are.
If ‘On The Floor’ reminded us of her capacity to stop the earth dead on its orbit with a global dance track, ‘I’m Into You’ is a similarly minded throwback to J.Lo‘s urban persuasion.
This one’s particularly catered to the Rebirth fans. That’s just the flavour I’m tasting, anyway.
‘I’m Into You’ isn’t life changing by any means but it’s effective enough to slot in with the Rihanna and Keri Hilson-styled radio singles. And it doesn’t hurt to have Weezy on board, either.
What do ya’ll make of it?
Feed Limmy verdict: Bounce snap.
Mighty snap = this is a hit.
Bounce snap = instantly likeable.
Lightbulb snap = you will need a moment to get into this.
Nonchalant snap = need I say more?
No snap = please cease and decease.
Jennifer Lopez is running a Like For Love? Facebook campaign where if you ‘like’ one of her new tracks enough, it’ll be unlocked and be made available on iTunes.
‘I’m Into You’ is the first one released form the movement.
J.Lo‘s eagerly anticipated Love? is out here digitally on 22 April, the physical release comes forth the following week.
You can pre-order an exclusive Glitteratti edition of the album from her website now, which goes for a meagre $US99.99.
It comes with an autographed lithograph Love? cover, 12″ vinyl with ‘On The Floor’ remixes, three additional J.Lo lithographs, a J.Lo poster and a deluxe edition of the album featuring bonus tracks. Gag!
