Can you believe the eleganza this chick is threatening? We are truly not worthy.
At the ripe old age of 18, Ms Selena Gomez is back with her third studio album – When The Sun Goes Down – and if the empowering lead single ‘Who Says’ and divine glam moll image is anything to go by, this body of work should pack a punch.
All the finest certified hitmakers were called in for this project – the roll call includes Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen, Ke$ha), Toby Gad (Beyonce, Nadine Coyle), E-Man (Whitney, Backstreet Boys) and Priscilla Renea (co-writer behind Cheryl Cole‘s ‘The Flood’).
Fans should have plenty to live for because the girl has got a black book full of promo appearances chalked up ready to go. Keep an eye out for her on Jay Leno, The Today Show, Regis & Kelly, Jimmy Fallon and she’ll also be performing on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert series as some kind of appetiser for her forthcoming US headline tour.
Selena has to date sold over 1.3 million albums worldwide. Her first two records Kiss & Tell and A Year Without Rain were US Top 10 successes (the latter managed to chart at #46 in Australia) and their singles have always managed to scale the dance chart stratospheres. The current single ‘Who Says’ is already certified gold sales in the States and the video has pulled over 30 million YouTube views already.
Selena Gomez and The Scene‘s When The Sun Goes Down is out in Australia on 1 July.
