Leak Report: Natalia Kills feat. will.i.am ‘Free’

Feisty upcoming pop star Natalia Kills will be slaying charts and airwaves world over with this. I felt it the first time I heard it and now, I believe this is the moment.

She really is one of the underground pop faves. She is one of them fixtures the pop blogosphere stan hard for along with the likes of Simon Curtis.

After gathering hype with the singles ‘Mirrors’ – which is currently reigning at #5 on the US Dance/Club charts – and ‘Wonderland’, Natalie Kills is set to drop ‘Free’ as her official third single. According to The Prophet Blog, the song – now complete with a hitmaking cameo from will.i.am – will impact UK, Germany, France, Canada and Japan soon.

Take a listen to the new single version of ‘Free’:

Is it possible for will.i.am to upgrade a song that’s already of such a pedigree platinum pop breed? Turns out – yeah. For all first time sippers of Kills‘ sweet poison, tell me you don’t taste an anthem. Bitch, you can guarantee that I’d be the one who’s stumbling to the ATM on a Saturday night out hollering, “get your fives, get your tens, get your twenties out!”

Feed Limmy verdict: Mighty snap.

Mighty snap = this is a hit.
Bounce snap = instantly likeable.
Lightbulb snap = you will need a moment to get into this.
Nonchalant snap = need I say more?
No snap = please cease and decease.

Natalia Kills will begin filming the video for ‘Free’ sometime this month.

Her debut album Perfectionist – which was executive produced by will.i.am, featuring productions by Fernando Garibay (Lady Gaga), Akon, Martin Kierszenbaum (Cherry Cherry Boom Boom) – has so far only been released in Germany where it charted at #50 off the back of one single.
