Feed Limmy’s 40 Songs of 2016

In keeping with this annual tradition that stretches back to a land before Snapchat and Gigi Hadid, I am here to present you Feed Limmy’s Songs of The Year.

Over the years it has become more of a documentation of songs released in the past 12 months that I have really enjoyed or have soundtracked a special memory. I think for that reason, these lists of the more intimate nature perhaps carry a bit more meaning and weight, as they’re not critically-inclined but are measured by the standard of one’s enjoyment and personal connection. Feed Limmy Songs of 2012: #30 – #21

Fact. There were more really, really good songs than really, really good albums in 2012. At least, that’s how my general listening experience infers, anyway.

Quick Feed: David Guetta, Bertie Blackman, Van She and Dawn Richard

I’mma Guetta pop crossover.

Alcopop guzzling lesbians across the globe are probably spazzing out at the thought of Tegan and Sara appearing on David Guetta‘s album.

Needless to say, ever since ‘Titanium’ (with Sia) became a global smash, Guetta’s now fond to experiment more with indie artists and only time will tell whether the Canadian rockers’ track will become a single of similar magnitude.

The twins feature on ‘Every Chance We Get We Run’, which is one of eight new tracks included on the beefed up re-release of Guetta‘s hit album Nothing But The Beat.

Nothing But The Beat 2.0 – set to drop in Australia on 7 September – will also feature fresh collabos with Akon, Ne-Yo, Aussie twins NERVO, Taped Rai and a new take on Flo Rida and Sia‘s smash ‘Wild One’.

Check out the tracklisting for Nothing But The Beat 2.0:
