The boyfriend is jetting off for another overseas trip tomorrow and once again, I’m left behind with nothing but my ‘Miss You’ playlist on loop.
I distinctly remember not coping very well the last time he flew out. Every thought I had drew me back to a stark consciousness that he was millions of miles away from me in a whole different time zone. I dissolved to tears when I watched Wall.E hold the she-robot’s hand… and Michelle Williams‘ ‘The Greatest’ just made me want to board a plane to be with him. Gurl, get a grip!
This time, we’ll only be apart for two weeks – so I’ll get by! But in my moments of weakness, I’ll have this playlist to complement the blues.
