She might’ve been playing coy on the Twittosphere a few minutes ago, asking fans which track from the mammoth Overcome album should be her next single but Alexandra Burke has already decided.
The X Factor vixen announced that a new version of ‘The Silence’ will be released in the UK in December, with the video already widely reported to have been shot in back in July.
Sounds like the perfect Christmas #1 to me. Fellow fans, are we feeling validated now that the monster ballad is finally going to have its place?

Wonder why Team Burke decided against releasing the new ballad ‘Perfect’ as her next single. There were talks of pushing a new recording a couple of months ago when ‘Start Without You’ first hit the top of the charts and there was even a snippet of it used in the X Factor auditions.
‘Perfect’ is understood to still be included on the upcoming re-release of Overcome due later in the year.
